Robot Media is looking for an experienced Android developer to work on interactive content projects for tablets, mobiles and soon Google TV.

Robot Media produces interactive content for new platforms, with a focus on comics and children’s books. These are some of the projects in which we’re currently working on:

Minimum Requirements

• Passion for interactive content
• Android development expert
• Living in Barcelona, willing to move or visit frequently
• Eat JSON/XML web services and MySQL/SQLite databases for breakfast
• Working knowledge of English
• Javascript/JQuery, CSS and HTML
• PHP, Ruby on Rails or any other server-side programming language
• CVS, Subversion or Git (preferred)

Optional Requirements

• Having published or contributed to open-source projects
• Agile development methodologies (ie: Scrum)
• Cloud-based architectures (ie: Amazon AWS)
• Android NDK
• OpenGL ES or similar technologies
• iOS development experience
