Robot Media is looking for an experienced JavaScript/HTML5 developer to create interactive content based on web technologies.

Robot Media produces interactive content for new platforms, with a focus on comics and children’s books. These are some of the projects in which we’re currently working on:

Minimum Requirements

  • Passion for interactive content
  • JavaScript development expert (JQuery in particular)
  • Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
  • Working knowledge of English
  • Relational databases (MySQL/SQLite)
  • PHP, Ruby on Rails or any other server-side programming language
  • Git, Subversion or CVS (in order of preference)
  • Living in Barcelona, willing to move or visit frequently

Optional Requirements

  • UX design
  • Having published or contributed to open-source projects
  • Agile development methodologies (ie: Scrum)
  • Cloud-based architectures (ie: Amazon AWS)
  • Canvas and WebGL
  • Node.js
  • Document-oriented databases (ie: MongoDB)
  • Android/iOS development experience
